There is a free service run by the North West Ambulance Service for people with appointments; ring

0800 032 3240 to see if you qualify for this service.

You will also need your NHS number and our postcode LA10 5DL.

Voluntary Transport

There is a voluntary transport service in Sedbergh which will arrange for volunteer drivers to transport you in their own vehicles to the GP surgery, hospital, hair appointments etc. This service is subsidised by Cumbria County Council so you will only have a small charge to pay.
